Ladies and Gentlemen, The Vietnamese American Community in Iowa (VACI) cordially invites you to attend the OPENING AND RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY for our VACI Community Center. The event will be held on Saturday, June 02, 2012 at 2600 Euclid Avenue from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (The VACI center is right across south of the TACO CASA restaurant on MLK and Euclid Avenue). As you know this has been a life-long dream of the Vietnamese American in the Des Moines and surrounding area and they have been tirelessly working in the last 12 months to raise funds to afford it. This building will serve as a home to preserve Vietnamese cultural artifacts and history; it is also a place to hold activities for children like: tutoring, language and cultural classes and a social venue for many occasions. We hope that you will be able to join us for this wonderful event.
